When does the voting open for this year?

Also, I'd like to vote for a Belgian Restaurant, but don't
see that you have such a category.

Can one be added, please?

Many Thanks!

Has anyone ever eaten at St. Tropez Bakery and Bistro? YUMMY!!! They hae locations in Encinitas, Hillcrest, Downtown, Rancho Bernardo and I think Little Italy! They really should be nominated for Best Neighborhood Eatery, Most decadent Desserts, Best French/Casual (can we add that category:)), Best Business Lunch and Best Caterer.

Also, what about adding Best Cakes???

Peohe's on Coronado

The ambience, view, and food were excellent but the customer service was terrible. Thisw is not restaurant for vegitarians.

We arrived on time for our reservation and there were only two couples ahead of us. They were seated and so were at least five other groups before we were. We waited 25 minutes. Because we had a baby-sitter constraint, this was vere disturbing. There were plenty of tables.

Our waiter behaved like he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. He got my drink order wrong because he wasn't paying attention.

Beware of their knives. They are razor sharp. In trying to cut open a roll, the knife slipped and cut a deep slice in my thumb. Blood everywhere until I got pressure on it. Once again, the waiter seemed unconcerned as he almost threw a Band Aid at me and had to be prompted to bring me a new napkin.

As I said, the dinner (sea bass) was excellent with great presentation. So was the desert (chocolate volcano). However, I don't like it when the dinner plates for two of the party are cleared while one party is still eating.

I publish a dining guide for the restaurants in the New Jersey town where I live (72 establishments) and eat at a lot of five-star restaurants and this is not one of them. Its attention to detail that gets them high raqtings This restaurant is three-star at best.

I won't visit this one again and I do visit San Diego often.

For years I have been resigned to letting Athens Market be number one in the Greek restaurant poll. But the latest inclusion of Daphne's Greek Cafe left me dumbfounded! Having eaten there three times at two different locations, I can only rate the food as poor to fair. My first pick since 1978 is Georgia's Greek Cuisine on Rosecrans, which has never showed up in your ratings. Georgia's is the closest thing to a greek taverna in San Diego. Great food, warm family atmosphere & reasonable prices. For authentic greek food, it beats the others by a mile. Based on the many loyal customers I see every week when I dine there, I am not alone in my opinion. Give it a chance & REMOVE Daphne's!

Sir/Madam,

I just recently ate at La Trattotia Acqua in La Jolla and what a mistake that was. I made a reservation with the hostess (at approx. 1700 hrs 06/13/08) and specifically asked if they could do something special for my wedding anniversary. The hostess ( I believe it was the owner) said "of course." The food was excellent and John (our waiter) tried. When we paid the bill, at the end of the meal, we didn't even receive a "congratulations" or "Happy Anniversary." Woww. Your magazine rated this "the best Italian restaurant in 2007"? Are you serious? Where's the credibility of your magazine? Perhaps your reviews need to be checked by someone else before you waste other patrons money with this place. My wife, who is from South America, asked me "Is this the best that they can do in La Jolla?" Good question. I was personally embarrassed as this was my wife and I's first wedding anniversary and it was ruined by this place. Very substandard, and "regular." I felt like we were eating at a Golden Corral Restaurant but, even there, I would have received a "happy anniversary" along with a cupcake or something. For $90.00 I could have gone to a way better restaurant such as the Marine Room (great restaurant).
Note: Credit to John our waiter. John tried to resolve the issue by offering us a free desert. I asked him if anyone had told him that it was our anniversary, and he stated "no, no one told me." So true. I was so embarrassed we just left before anyone saw us leaving from this place. Maybe it was because we weren't with the US Open Tour? Who knows?
I would never eat there again. Oh, and I loved the customers wearing blue jeans with T-shirts.. very attractive.
"One of the Best Italian restaurant in all of the USA?" How many bottles of wine did your reviewers drink at this place before they made that ridiculous statement?

La Trattoria Acqua should be embarrassed by their restaurant, I certainly was.

I would like to make you aware of a family owned restaurant
that has been in San Diego for 31 years.

The food is always fresh and homemade and delicious.

The prices are very reasonable.

The food is plenty.

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Georgia's Greek Cuisine
3550 Rosecrans St.
San Diego, CA 92110

619.523.1007

When you go to this restaurant it's as if though
you have escaped to Greece for the evening.

You always know that you will get good quality,
very tasty, plenty and reasonably priced food here.

Please share this with your restaurant review department.

Thanks,
